About Us
We
are an acoustic duo. The band traces it's roots to the Philly suburbs and moved
south 5 years ago. We play music from the 60's to the present day. Bill plays guitar
and vocals, Tricia is the featured vocalist. The mainstay of our music is great
songs with great harmonies.
Our play list includes the Eagles, America, Simon & Garfunkel, CCR, Mary Chapin
Carpenter, Fleetwood Mac, Little Big Town, Jimmy Buffett, Lady Antebellum, Johnny
Cash, John Prine, David Gray, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Zac Brown Band, Bonnie
Raitt, Sheryl Crow, to name a few. And yes the harmonies are pure and real, no back
tracks or cd's to sing along to, just real, live music.
We are the perfect accompaniment to your back yard or beach party, rehearsal dinner
or special event. Please contact us for rates and booking info. Make your next event
truly memorable and fun with music by Front Page News. Check out the testimonials
below to see what folks say about us and our music. Thank you and we look forward
to making your next event "FRONT PAGE NEWS"!
Testimonials
"I've been a fan ever since the first night I heard our generations favorite acoustic
melodies under their sweet harmonies. Billy and Tricia (Front Page News) make friends
with every audience... on and off stage and are developing a faithful following.
It was our pleasure to have them as one of the first duo's to play the new Pewter
Mug stage, and booked them back on the first break."

We have had the pleasure of working with "Front Page News," formerly "The Beadnicks,"
for over two years here at Hamilton Harbor Yacht Club. They bring a relaxed and
easy sound to any event that they have performed for us at. Our goal at Hamilton
Harbor Yacht Club is to transform the traditional yacht club experience to one of
renewed, refreshed, and relaxed. "Front Page News" fits this mindset, and brings
this feeling to our club with every performance. Billy and Trisha not only have
a great repertoire of songs they draw from, but each song they sing seems to be
coming from personal experience. "Front Page News" will continue to be on Hamiton
Harbor's preferred list for entertainers and we highly recommend them for your next
event.
